#4 Upside Down
Upside Down
Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast. --Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
A clock ticked inside a tree.
Burgers on Wednesday
and Tuesdays for tea.
I looked at my feet
and questioned the sky,
waited for answers.
The hedgehog knew why.
Nothing is possible
in a world inside out,
but I'll wear my shirt backward
to straighten it out.
Riddle me this
and riddle me that.
If I sit in the tree,
I can talk to the cat.
