Wild leaden blue
tumbled with slate gray,
as if the ocean had angrily
thrown jagged pieces
into the sky.
The rain plunged into the sea,
and the clouds screamed
their fury into the wind.
Silently, the beach had watched
from a distance,
hoping not to get sucked in.
